The thing I liked most about my time spent here at Anchorage is the level of accountability from both the clients and the staff members. Also, the structure here is based around a 12-Step recovery program, and I believe that is the only way remain sober on a day to day basis. Thank you to everyone here who has been a part of my recovery.
Anchorage Transitional Living was a great place for me to find out how to live sober in the real world. The staff at Anchorage are always willing to help you with any problem that you may encounter and will help find a solution that is conducive to spiritual growth and recovery. The program has many connections in town for recovery mentors, work, and housing options once you have completed the program. Overall I am very grateful for everything that Anchorage has given me and I would not be in the position that I am today, living a happy life. Free for the first time in my life mentally, physically, and emotionally from drug addiction... Alex S.
I came into Anchorage Recovery broken. I have found the management here supportive and instructive. Because of the structure and the 12 step centered program, I have begun the healing process with my family who are beginning to trust me again. I have found employment here in the area and most importantly, have been able to regain a sense of self-respect, integrity, and want to be helpful to others. I would strongly recommend Anchorage to anyone with a sincere desire to change their lives... J.M.

Anchorage was a great place for me to start my recovery. The support and comradery there was very beneficial for me. I believe the structure at Anchorage helped me thrive in my recovery before heading out on
my own. Steve Emery has helped me on my journey through sobriety. He cares very much about the residents at Anchorage. He held me accountable when I needed it. Steve is a friend that I can still come to, even now that I've completed my program... Taylor B.
